GE - General Electric WPRB8050D1CC Questions and Answers

#1 how to open dial panel
I need to get to the pump motor on my Profile washier. How do I open the panel on top to get to the pump. The machine does not pump the water out. There are no visible screws, clips etc to open it.

This is a front-serviceable washer, meaning that parts can be replaced by removing the front panel. Here are the instructions to removing this panel:

1 Unplug power cord from wall receptacle

2 Locate 2 spring clips between top and front panel (Approx. 4 inches in from the corners.

3 Insert putty knife between top and front panel and push in to release clips.

4 Pull top of front panel forward, lift up and off bottom locating tabs.

5 To reassemble: Place bottom of front panel on existing "locating" tabs at bottom of washer cabinet.

6 Align front panel with washer cabinet and top, push in until front snaps onto spring clips.
