Water remaining in the
care product

■ Not a fault – the effectiveness of the care product is not affected.
■ Clean the insert if necessary.
Odours in the washing
machine.
Run the Drum Clean î or Cottons 90 °C programme without laundry.
Add standard washing powder or a detergent that contains bleach.
Note: . To prevent foaming, only use half the amount of detergent
recommended by the detergent manufacturer. Do not use detergents intended
for woollens or delicates.
The o symbol is lit on the
display panel. Foam may
also be leaking from the
detergent drawer.
Have you used too much detergent?
Mix one tablespoon of fabric softener with 1/2 litre of water and pour it into
compartment II (not suitable for outdoor clothing, sportswear or items made
with down).
Use less detergent for the next wash cycle.
Loud noises, vibrations
and machine “wandering”
during the spin cycle.

from the fan and pump can be heard when it is doing this.

■ Was residual water removed before laundry was added?
■ Level the appliance. The active oxygen treatment can only work properly if
the appliance is levelled correctly. ~ Page 20
Odours noticeable after

programme.
Active oxygen leaves a specific odour on the laundry following treatment. Shake
out the laundry briefly.
Odour has not been
removed satisfactorily
after the sensoFresh î
programme.
■ The active oxygen treatment is less effective if the drum is dirty. Run the
Drum Clean î programme before using the appliance for the first time,
and regularly thereafter.
■ Have you loaded too much laundry? Do not exceed the maximum load.
■ Have you selected a high enough intensity? Select a higher intensity.
