Sleep Mode
To activate sleep mode, press SLEEP . Sleep mode runs on
Low (L) fan speed with all control panel lights dimmed. To exit,
press SLEEP , SPEED , or POWER .
Control Lock
The Control Lock locks the controls to prevent unintended
1. Press and hold SLEEP for 3 seconds to lock. The Control
Lock indicator light will turn “ON”. No selection can be made.
2. Press and hold again SLEEP for 3 seconds to unlock. The
Control Lock indicator light will turn “OFF”. Settings can now
be changed and the unit turned “ON” or “OFF”.

Cleaning
1. Press POWER to turn “OFF”

Gently pull the rear grille away from the unit and remove.

6. Gently wash the rear grille in soapy water.
NOTE: The grille is not dishwasher safe.

8. Place the bottom tabs on the rear grille into the bottom slots

Replace the lter regularly. The use of a non Whirlpool lter may
invalidate the warranty.
