Black+Decker MX600R Questions and Answers

#1 Can I use this hand mixer on 230V? Also, will your 5 speed blender work on 230V? I bought a gift for someone who lives in Asia, otherwise I might have to return it.
This hand mixer operates at 250 watts, 120 volts, 60 hertz, and 2.083 amps. Under the Key Features section there is a Specifications box that indicates this hand mixer, as well as the blender, requires 120 Volts – 60 Hz electric power service, such as that which is used in North America. Please do not attempt to use this hand mixer or the blender with any other electric power service.

#2 where is this product made?
This product is made to our specifications in Indonesia and China. The country of manufacture is printed on the box and in the use and care manual

#3 What is the power source? I didn't see a cord.
There is a line cord that emanates from the base of the handle. This hand mixer does not have a cordless option

#4 Is the electrical cord protected with a 1/2" reinforcement at the body of the mixer? If the cord just sticks out from the body of the mixer over time that point of connection may break or pull away from the body of the mixer.
Yes, this hand mixer does have a reinforcement on the cord near the body of the hand mixer.
