#1 How to turn closed caption on and off in Philips TV?

Press the ‘CC’ button on the remote control repeatedly to turn closed captioning on and off. To turn on the closed captioning, select CC1 or CC2. To turn off the closed captioning, select CC OFF.

#2 How to use the Source List in Philips TV?

Press the 'AV+' button on the remote control to show the SOURCE list menu.
Press the cursor up/down to select the desired mode (such as TV, AV, SIDE/SVHS, CVI-1[SD/HD], CVI-2[SD/HD], HDMI, PC-VGA or PC-D) is highlighted.
After you have highlighted the desired mode, press the cursor right to activate the selected mode.
Note:
The Source will allow you to use the TV in the TV, HD or PC modes. Depending on how the TV will be used, these modes may have their own onscreen menu controls to optimize capability when used with computers or high-definition receivers.

Press the 'AV+' button on the remote control to show the SOURCE list menu. Press the cursor up/down to select CVI-1[SD/HD], CVI-2[SD/HD] or HDMI (depending on the the digital accessory devices connected to your TV).

#5 How to connect a playback device to my Philips TV using an ‘AV’ input

Unplug the TV and playback device before you make any connection.

Use a video cable and connect one end of the video (yellow) cable to the video output jack of the accessory device and the other end to the ‘AV VIDEO IN' input jack on the bottom of the television.

Use a set of audio cable and connect one end of the audio cables (red and white) to the audio left and right output jacks of the playback device and the other end to the audio ‘AV L/R' jacks on the bottom of the television.

Turn the TV and the playback device ON and press the [AV+] button on the remote control to show the [Source] list menu.

Press the cursor [Up] or [Down] button to select [AV/SVHS] and press cursor [Right] to activate.

With the playback device ON, press the [Play] button to activate the playback on the TV.
