Bosch NGP735UC(00) Questions and Answers

#1 How do I clean my gas igniters on my gas hob?

Carefully wipe the igniter with a cotton swab dampened with water after the igniter has cooled down. Gently scrape soil off with a toothpick. Avoid exposing the igniters to excessive water as a damp igniter may not light up. Remove any lint that may remain after cleaning.

#2 Which food deposits may be removed with a scraper while the ceramic or induction hob is hot?

Dry sugar, sugar syrup, milk, tomato spills, melted plastic film, foil. First, remove any cooking pans and utensils and turn off the hob. Wearing an oven mitt, hold scraper at a 30° angle, being careful to not gouge or scratch the glass. Use smooth, shallow movements - do not chip or stab the surface. Push the loosened deposits off the heated area with the scraper. After the hob surface has cooled, remove the loosened deposits and apply Ceramic hob cleaner.

#3 How do I clean the control knobs on my gas hob?

To remove knobs, simply lift them straight up. Use hot, soapy water with a soft cloth, rinse and then dry. Do not soak the knobs or use abrasive cleaners and scrubbers.

#4 How do I clean stubborn grease from my gas hob?

Remove all pots, pans and utensils and turn off the hob. Remove pan supports once they have cooled down. Pan supports are heavy so use care when handling them. Use a mild cleaning agent with a clean, soft cloth, rinse and then dry.

#5 How do I clean hard water spots?

Minerals in some water can be transferred onto the hob's surface and cause stains. Apply undiluted white vinegar with a soft, clean cloth. Then polish with Ceramic hob cleaner.
