USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Moisten the seal (C3) (still inserted on the blade unit (C1)).
Place the assembly (C1+C3) on the blade holder (C2) (Fig. 1).
Make sure the arrow is upwardly orientated (Fig. 1).
Verify the seal is in place on the blade unit.
Place the unit (C1+C2+C3) on the base of the jug (C4) (Fig. 2).
Lock it by rotating the blade unit through a quarter turn in the clockwise
direction (Fig. 3).
Add the ingredients to the assembled jug without exceeding the
maximum level indicated:
* 1.5 L for thick mixtures
* 1.25 L for liquid preparations
Lock the lid (C5) on the jug by rotating it clockwise. Place the measuring
cap (C6) in its recess on the lid (Fig. 8).
Speed selection: Turn the control knob (B) to choose the desired speed 1
or 2. You can change this speed as required during preparation.
“Pulse” function: Turn the control knob (B) to the “Pulse” position. Using
a succession of pulses gives finer control over the degree of blending for
precise preparations. In this position, the appliance starts directly on
maximum speed. It stops as soon as you release the knob.
You can prepare finely Kiwi Juice, Vegetable juice, Tomato juice, grape
juice, Apple juice, Fruit smoothie… etc.
If ingredients stick to the sides of the jug when blending, stop the
appliance. Remove the blender jug from the motor unit, and push the
food down onto the blades using a spatula and put your blender jug
back to continue your preparation.
Always pour the liquid ingredients into the blender jug first, before
adding the solid ingredients, without exceeding the maximum level.
To add ingredients while blending, remove the measuring cap from the
lid and add the ingredients through the feeder hole.
For finely crushed ice, use a maximum of 6 large ice cubes using “pulse”
function. There is no need to add water.
Place the blender jug assembly (C4+C1+C2+C3) on the motor unit (A)
(Fig. 4). The red lock (open is aligned in the slot on the motor unit
(Fig. 4 - position 1).
