#1 Tracey has advised that the shelves are 425mm wide but is
that both ovens? Are the same shelves used in both the top
oven and the bottom oven?

The top oven comes with a grill pan instead of a shelf, but
both ovens are the same width so you could use one from
the bottom oven if you wanted to.

#2 Do you have to have the door shut when you use the grill?

You are supposed to. It was something I'd never had to do
before but very easy to get used to. It also helps to stop fat
splashes.
