Metabo HPT NP35A Questions and Answers

#1 What is the best pressure to seat the nails properly?
I run my pressure between 80 and 90 psi and have had no trouble driving the nails all the way in with no head showing both in pine and oak lumber. Below 80 psi and the nails don't go all the way in when I'm using oak.

#2 What are the dimensio? Need it for tight spot
The gun is roughly 6"tall and 9" long , you will have to allow for your hand to wrap around the handle , it has a trigger area safety switch that took me some time to get used to as this is the first air nailer I have in 30 plus years with this type safety switch

#3 Where is this made?
Metabo was a German Co. Sold to a China Co. And it seems the parts are made in both and some from Japan and others countries around the world.

#4 What are the options for depth adjustment? Can you adjust to 1/4 inch with a 1/2 inch nail?
As copy says: Magazine automatically adjusts to 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1-3/16" and 1-3/8" fastener lengths for use on a wide variety of projects. 1/2” isn’t listed as it’s too short. 5/8” is the shortest pin nail. As for it driving the pin nail halfway as you inquired, reducing the required air pressure might help but could jam the unit or cause some other issues.
