If the burner cap is fitted properly and you are getting the same
noise at low setting as the other settings then I suggest you
get a gas fitter to check it.

Very good hob with brushed stainless steel finish. I have yet to
come across any steel that is smear free (stainless or
otherwise). Just wipe it over with a cloth after use

I have drawers under mine. The joiner was able to cut into the
wood between & around the drawer frame. I was a bit
apprehensive about the unit being weakened but it is fine.

I assume you mean lpg, if so, yes it does. After the jets have
been changed it needs to be adjusted for minimum flame.
You'll need a Gas Safe Registered plumber to do the
conversion.

All burners operate in the same way. They cannot be ignited
accidentally – gas must be turned on and then the spark
activated without interruption for exactly 15 seconds,
otherwise the gas flow ceases.

I have the black glass version, the knobs are made of a
combination of a metal centre and black cover

It doesn't smear but is a bit of a pain to keep clean, altho its not
hard work and it is a nice looking cooker.
