the appliance with functionality meets the basic

eHood connection
Ho o d c onnect i on
You can connect this appliance to a compatible
extractor hood and control the functions of the hood via
your hob.
Appliances can be connected to each other in different
ways:
Connecting appliances directly
If the appliance is connected directly to an extractor
hood, it cannot be connected to your home network as
well. The appliance will function as a hob without a
network connection. The hob can always be operated
from the control panel.
Connecting appliances via your home network
You can connect the appliance to the extractor hood via
your home network and make use of the existing
infrastructure.
Notes
Make sure you follow the safety instructions in the
instruction manual for your extractor hood and that
these are complied with even when operating the
appliance via the hood controls on the
hob.~ "Important safety information" on page 6
If the extractor hood is being operated by means of
the controls on the extractor hood itself, this mode of
operation always has priority. It is not possible to use
the hood controls on the hob during this time.
In networked standby mode, your appliance requires
a maximum of 2 W.
Setting up
Both the hob and the extractor hood must be switched
on before you can connect them to each other.
To do this, refer to the section entitled "Connecting to
the hob" in the instruction manual for your extractor
hood.
