#3 What is the size of the gas pipe?

Technically I have my previous answer backwards, from a gas flow perspective, I was thinking reverse from the cooktop to the gas line. 1/2" gas line goes into the regulator (female input) which then has an output (female) of 3/8" you connect with the 3/8" nipple (male) that goes into the cooktop
