How to Brew Ground Coffee
w WARNING
Burn Hazard.
To avoid hot coffee overflowing from the filter basket:
• When using decaffeinated coffee, do not exceed the coffee
manufacturer’s recommended serving amount.
• Ensure swivel filter basket is completely closed.
If filter basket overflow occurs, unplug coffee maker and allow coffee
in filter basket to cool before removing filter basket.
Before First Use: Wash all removable parts in hot, soapy water.
Rinse and dry.
1. Plug into outlet.
2. Add water to water reservoir.
3. Place filter basket into basket holder. Add
filter and add coffee grounds.
4. Top basket holder with basket cover. Close
basket holder. Make sure GRIND & BREW
light is off; if not off, press GRIND & BREW
button to turn light off. Press BREW NOW
button. Power Light turns on and brewing
starts.
5. Press BREW NOW button to turn off or
coffee maker will automatically turn off
after 2 hours. Unplug.
Brew Options
REGULAR – Press BREW OPTIONS button until REGULAR is
displayed.
BOLD – Enhanced full/strong-flavored coffee: Press BREW OPTIONS
button until BOLD is displayed. BOLD mode will require additional
time to complete a brewing cycle.
1–4 CUPS – When brewing 1–4 cups of coffee: Press BREW
OPTIONS button until 1–4 CUPS is displayed.
