#1 How do I clean my air conditioner's air filter?

For most air conditioners, the filter can be found by opening the front panel. Since it’s a reusable filter, you can simply remove and clean using warm, soapy water. After cleaning, allow the filter to dry thoroughly before replacing it. You may also vacuum the air filter to remove excess dirt and particles.

#2 Why is my room air conditioner making noise?

Room Air Conditioners, during operation, may make noise. It is
normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air,
gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal.

#3 Why is my Filter Reset light on?

This feature is a reminder to clean the Air Filter (refer to Care
and Cleaning section of the Use and Care Guide) for more
efficient operation.
The LED light will illuminate after 250 hours of operation. After
cleaning the filter, plug the unit back into the power source and
reset the filter by pressing the ‘Filter Reset’ button and the light
will go off.

#4 How does the power cord work on my air conditioner? When should
I test the plug?

For your safety all Frigidaire air conditioners feature a 3-prong
grounding plug and current leakage detection device.
These enhanced plugs help to detect damages to the power
cord and can be tested following a few simple steps.

1. Press the reset button
2. Plug the cord into the power outlet
3. Press the test button, the reset button should pop up
4. Press reset button for use
5. Do not use room air conditioner if above test fails.

#5 What does the Clean Air button do?

When this feature is on, the electronic air purifier is energized to
remove pollen and impurities from the air. To cancel this feature,
press the Clean Air button.

#6 Why is my room air conditioner making noise?
