30-day Money Back Guarantee:
If a customer wants to return their unit under the 30-day money back guarantee, your
customer service representative must be contacted and provided with the customer's
name, address and phone number, the unit's serial number, proof of purchase and
reason for return. Customer service will provide a Return Authorization (RA)
Number. This number must be printed legibly and large enough to be easily seen on
the outside of the return package. If there is no RA number on the package, delivery
will be refused. Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return
shipment. Austin Air will not pay for or arrange the return of any product under the
30-day money back guarantee. The dealer will be issued a credit for the cost of the
returned unit, including the original shipping charge and restocking fee.
5-year Parts & Service Guarantee:
If the customer has a unit that has a mechanical or electrical defect and is within five
years of purchase, your customer service representative must be contacted and
provided with the customer's name, address, phone number, the unit's serial number
and a detailed description of the problem. Customer service will provide a Return
Authorization (RA) Number. This number must be printed legibly and large enough
to be easily seen on the outside of the return package. If there is no RA number on
the package, delivery will be refused. Customers are responsible for arranging and
paying for the return shipment to Austin Air. If the problem falls under the guidelines
of the 5-year guarantee and is not the result of negligence or abuse, Austin Air
technicians will repair or replace the unit and return it to the customer at no cost. If
Austin Air technicians determine that the problem is not covered by the 5-year
guarantee, the customer will be billed for repairs and return shipment.
5-year Prorated Filter Guarantee:
Customers requesting a prorated filter replacement must contact Austin Air customer
service. They will be required to provide their name, address, phone number, proof of
purchase and the unit's serial number and date of manufacture. The discount is based
upon the age of the filter and the conditions under which the machine has been
operated. Proof of purchase and return of filter at Customer’s expense will qualify
them for a credit, in addition to the pro-rated cost.
