Overheat Safety Feature
This heater is equipped with an overheat safety feature. When
the heater’s internal components reach a certain temperature
that could cause overheating and possibl , the heater will
automatically shut off.
A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent over-
heating. When an “overheat” temperature is reached, the
heater will automatically shut off. Operation can resume
only when the user resets the unit.
It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a
loose t between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the
plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact
a quali ed electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.

Follow the below steps to reset the unit:
1. Turn the Power Switch to “ON position, and turn the
Thermostat
Control Dial to the “OFF” position.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Allow heater to cool down for at least ten minutes.
4. Ensure that both intake and exhaust vents are clear of
obstructions.
5. Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
6. Turn on the Power Switch, and then turn the Thermostat
Control Dial to the highest setting.
