Short Message Service (SMS)
9.2.5 Delete an SMS Message
1 Open an SMS message. (See 9.2.1
above.)
2 Press o Option to open the
inbox submenu, then scroll n to
Delete and press o Select.
3 Delete? is displayed. Press o OK
to delete the message. (Press c
Back to return to the SMS
submenu.)
Deleted! is displayed for 2
seconds and the display returns
to the SMS inbox.
9.2.6 Delete all SMS Messages
1 Open an SMS message. (See 9.2.1
above.)
2 Press o Option to open the
inbox submenu, then scroll n to
Delete All and press o Select.
3 Delete All? is displayed. Press o
OK to delete all your SMS
messages. (Press c Back to
return to the SMS submenu.)
Waiting… is displayed for a
moment then Deleted! is
displayed briefly, and the display
returns to the SMS menu.
9.3 Drafts
The drafts box is where you can keep
SMS messages.
9.3.1 Open a Draft
1 Press m in idle mode, scroll n to
SMS, and press o Select.
2 Scroll n to Drafts and press o
Select to open the drafts box.
3 Scroll n through the draft
messages.
If a message is from the number
of someone in your phonebook,
the phonebook information will
be displayed.
4 Press o View to open an SMS
message.
When you have finished, press
c Back to return to the drafts
box.
If the drafts box is empty, “No
Message” will display for 2 seconds and
the handset will return to idle mode.
9.3.2 Send a Draft
1 Open a draft message. (See 9.3.1
above.)
2 Press o Option to open the
drafts submenu. Send is highlighted;
press o Select.
3 The display will show Send to:,
prompting you to enter the number
that you want to send the message
to.
The procedure then is similar to the
normal procedure for sending an
SMS message. (See 9.1 above.)
9.3.3 Edit a Draft
1 Open a draft message. (See 9.3.1
above.)
