The Canninggrateistobe usedonlywithJenn-AirExpressionsGas ceoktops.
Thisoptionalaccessorymakesitpossibletouse largeover-sizedcannersor
stockpotsonthe cooktop. Normallycanners should not be allowedto extend
overthe edge of the grate• Heat build-upunder the canner coulddamage
surrounding areas. The elevated design of the Canning grate eliminatessuch
problems.
Note: The largefront burner has been designedtosupply the highestBTU
rate.When canning,usethis burner_.
1. Beforeinstallingthecanninggrate,becertainALLcontrolknobsare inthe
"OFF"positionandthe cooktopgrateiscool.
2. Removethe burnergratefromthe large frontburnerofthe cooktop.
3. Placethe canninggratein itsplace. The largeflat portionshouldextend
forwardover the countertop.Add thesurface burnergrateon top of the
canninggrate,
4. Use the surfacecontrolknob forthe large front burner.
5. The grate can be removedfor storage once it has cooled.
