Features
The XA-C40 is a selector for connecting several
Sony BUS system compatible CD/MD changers to
a car audio unit which is also compatible with the
Sony BUS system. Three CD/MD changers can be
connected per single XA-C40, and up to seven
CD/MD changers can be connected with three
XA-C40s.

Before installation
•Choose the installation location carefully so that
the unit does not interfere with normal driving
operations.
•Avoid installing the unit in areas subject to:
— high temperatures, such as from direct
sunlight or hot air from the heater.
— draft, rain or moisture.
— dust or dirt.
— magnetic fields.
•Use only the supplied mounting hardware for a
safe and secure installation. Please see the
Mounting example on the reverse side of this
manual.
If you have any questions or problems concerning
your unit that are not covered in this manual,

Installation

Vor der Installation
•Wä hlen Sie den Einbauort sorgfä ltig aus, so dass
das Gerä t beim normalen Fahren nicht hindert.
•Montieren Sie das Gerä t nicht an einem Ort, an
dem es folgenden Bedingungen ausgesetzt ist:

•Verwenden Sie fü r eine sichere und feste

Rü ckseite dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
Sollten an Ihrem Gerä t Probleme auftreten oder
sollten Sie Fragen zum Gerä t haben, auf die in
dieser Anleitung nicht eingegangen wird, wenden
Sie sich bitte an Ihren Sony-Händler.
