Stopping your appliance
If you have started the heating cycle and then decide
you want to stop for any reason before dispensing the
water or during dispensing, simply press the stop
button D (fig 6). The boiled water will be safely
transferred back into the water tank. After a few
seconds, you can start the heating procedure again.
NB: The noise during use is due to the water heating
up. This is normal.

Emptying your appliance
1. After your appliance has completely cooled down,
unplug it from the mains socket and remove the
appliance from the power base.
2. Press the lid open button.(H)
3. Hold your appliance over a sink and pour the water
out by tilting your appliance on one side. (fig 7)
4. Still holding your appliance over the sink, turn it the
right way up and press the start button. Then let
any water from the dispense chamber drain from
the dispensing nozzle C (fig 8)
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all the water has been
emptied from your appliance.
If your appliance is not going to be used for a long
period (e.g. during holiday), we recommend that
before you leave you empty it. Before using it again, fill
the tank with tap water and then carry out a few
heating cycles and carefully discard the water each
time. To clean the removable drip tray, lift it off the
power base and clean it using warm water and
washing-up liquid. (fig 9)
Cleaning
Clean the exterior surface of your appliance with a
damp cloth and then polish it with a soft and dry cloth.
Do not use steel wool pads or abrasive sponges.

Always switch off and
unplug your appliance
and let it completely cool
down before cleaning.
Never immerse the base
unit, power cord, plug or
water tank in water or
any other liquid. Do not
use harsh abrasives,
chemicals or oven
cleaners.
WARNING:
By pressing the start
button you will be put-
ting the appliance into an
" already on" mode it will
begin a heating cycle as
soon as it is put back on
the power base. Please
remember to press the
stop button as soon as
the appliance is put back
onto the power base.
During use, a certain
amount of the water
boiled will be transferred
back to the water tank.
This means the water
tank may become hot.
The stainless steel parts
may also become hot. Do
not touch the stainless
steel parts when using
your appliance. Always
handle your appliance
with care.
