#1 Is this toaster gluten free?

If you put gluten free products in it.

#2 How do you clean this toaster inside??? major problem! the crumbs burn. bugs crawl in it to feed. poor design.

You can remove bottom to remove crumbs and a soft brush to clean inside if necessary I do keep this away from bugs I have no problem with this toaster and do like it a lot.

#3 Does it toast both sides of bread evenly?

This toaster owner says yes, it does toast evenly on both sides. One may need to fiddle with the knob settings a bit to get the best version of "toasted" bread. I have found it necessary to turn the setting up a bit more than might have been expected.

Interestingly, the toaster instructions suggest turning outward each side of a sliced bagel, something that on the face of it seems counterintuitive yet nonetheless works well in practice.

#4 Does this toaster have a slide out crumb tray?

Yes, it does have a slide-out crumb tray.

#5 Toasters that are UL listed??

This one does have a UL stamped on the sticker on the bottom of the toaster.
