6.2 INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK
WARNING
• If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the
battery pack or the charger.
• Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops before
you install or remove the battery pack.
• Read, know, and do the instructions in the battery and
charger manual.
1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in
the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until
the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.
6.3 REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK
1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.
6.4 INSTALL THE AUXILIARY
HANDLE
WARNING
The auxiliary handle must be used to help prevent loss of
control and possible injury.
The auxiliary handle can be installed on the left or right side
of the machine.
1. Install the auxiliary handle into the necessary position.
2. Turn the auxiliary handle clockwise to tighten.
7 OPERATION
WARNING
Always wear eye protection.
WARNING
Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this product.
7.1 START THE MACHINE
1. Push ON / OFF switch to turn ON.
To lock ON for continuous use, push the ON / OFF switch to
front and push down.
7.2 STOP THE MACHINE
1. Release ON / OFF switch to turn OFF.
7.3 ADJUST THE GUARD
WARNING
Adjust the guard correctly depending on which side the
handle is installed
WARNING
Ensure guard is correctly installed. If not, sparks and loose
pieces of the grinding wheel can cause injury to the
operator. Put the guard in the correct location.
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Pull the guard clasp to unlock the guard.
3. Turn the guard to its correct position.
4. Push the guard clasp in to lock the guard.
NOTE
Make sure that you install the ridge on the guard in the
groove of the bearing cap.
7.4 OPERATE THE MACHINE
Use correct grinding wheels that are recommended for the
material. Make sure that the minimum speed of a accessory
