Preparing frozen bread or toast
■ Set the desired toasting level with the
selector.
■ Insert the bread to be toasted into the
toast slot.
■ Press the push-down/start lever down
until it engages. The stop button lights up.
■ Press the 3 button. The 3 button
lights up.
■ Defrosting ends when the bread being
toasted is raised up.
Notes
■ If the item being toasted gets stuck, the
toaster turns itself off automatically.
■ If the item being toasted gets stuck in the
toast slot, pull out the plug and carefully
remove the bread after the toaster has
cooled down.
■ For one slice of toast, set the toasting
level lower than for two slices.
■ Toast the bread until it is golden brown
and not dark or brown, remove any burnt
edges. Do not over-toast foods containing
starch, especially grain and potato pro-
ducts (to reduce the production of acryl
amides).

place it in the dishwasher!
Do not steam-clean the appliance.
Do not use oven or grill spray for cleaning.
■ Remove the crumb tray and wipe it clean.
■ Clean the toaster‘s exterior with a damp
cloth; do not use strong or abrasive
cleaning agents.
Tip: Clean the stainless steel surface with a
commercial stainless steel product.
