Zanussi ZOHCX3X2 Questions and Answers

#1 HOW TO SANITIZE MY OVEN?

- Wipe a couple of times the external surface of your appliance with SOFT SINGLE-USE towels soaked with ethanol solution (70%). Avoid Chlorine-based disinfectants. - Use only in well-ventilated environments
- As an alternative to single-use towels: use 2 different soft towels and wash them afterwards in the washing machine with detergent at cotton cycle 90°C.
- Effectiveness of treatment is affected by the presence of organic matter. If the surface is dirty the suggestion is to clean the surface using detergent recommended in the user manual before using the disinfectant

#2 HOW TO MAKE YOGHURT IN THE ZANUSSI STEAM OVEN?

1. Pour 150ml milk in each container.
2. Add 1 tbsp natural yoghurt in each container and stir gently.
3. Select "Yoghurt function" from Special Heating Function menu.
4. Steam from 6 to 10 hours
5. Put in the fridge to rest for 3-4 hours before serving.

#3 HOW TO CLEAN THE ZANUSSI OVEN WITH PYROLYTIC FUNCTION?

The Pyrolytic symbol or indicates that the pyrolytic self-cleaning function of the oven should be performed:
1. Remove all trays and shelf supports.
2. Remove as much dirt as possible.
3. Wipe down inner glass. We recommend our oven cleaner for use on door glass and stainless steel shelves, visit our webshop for more information.
4. Select pyrolytic cleaning cycle and choose the duration of the cleaning procedure.
You can choose between three different programs, each program varies in length depending on the type of soiling and oven.
5. Door will lock for complete safety. The Pyrolytic self-cleaning function turns baked on food residue inside your oven into ash, without unpleasant odours.
6. Wipe away ash with damp cloth.
7. Return shelf supports and trays.

#4 HOW TO CLEAN A ZANUSSI SINGLE OVEN MANUALLY, REMOVING OVEN DOOR AND GLASS

For manual cleaning, please follow the instructions below.
Always ensure the oven has cooled down before cleaning.
1. Remove oven trays, wire shelves and the pop-off shelf supports on each side and soak in the sink or wash in the dishwasher.
2. When using oven cleaner sprays, spray the cleaner into a cloth and wipe the cavity as opposed to spraying it directly into the cavity itself. This can cause the cleaner to impact capillary cables behind the fan over time. Zanussi Oven and Micro Care is recommended for use on Zanussi ovens. Please follow the instructions on the pack provided. It's always advised to try a wet cloth on the oven before using any cleaning solution. Any cleaners used must be non abrasive.
3. Wipe down whole cavity and inner glass door.
4. Wipe dry.
5. Dry the stainless steel shelves, trays and shelf supports and return to the oven.
6. On most models it is possible to remove the door glass and/or door.
