Cleaning the baffle filters by hand
Clean the baffle filters with a soft
nylon brush in a mild solution of hot
water and a small amount of
washing-up liquid. Do not use
undiluted washing up liquid.
Unsuitable cleaning agents
Unsuitable cleaning agents can cause
damage to the surface of the filters if
used regularly.
Do not use:
cleaning agents containing descaling
agents,
powder cleaners or cream cleaners,
aggressive all-purpose cleaning
agents or spray cleaners for grease,
oven sprays.
Cleaning the grease filters in the
dishwasher
If possible, place the baffle filters
vertically or inclined in the lower
basket. Ensure the spray arm is not
obstructed.
Use a standard household
dishwasher detergent.
Select a dishwasher programme with
a wash temperature between 50°C
and 65°C.
After cleaning
After cleaning, leave the baffle filters
on an absorbent surface to dry.
When removing the baffle filters for
cleaning, also clean off any residues
of oil or fat from the now accessible
housing to prevent the risk of these
catching fire.
Grease tray
The lower support for the baffle filters
serves as a grease tray which collects
dripped grease. It can be removed for
cleaning.
Pull the grease tray upwards to
remove it.
For cleaning purposes, follow the
instructions provided under
"Housing". The grease tray of the
30"-wide appliance can be cleaned in
the dishwasher.
Refit the grease tray after cleaning.
