BAKING
Do not lock the oven door with the latch during
baking. The latch is used for self-cleaning only.
Your oven temperature is controlled using the latest
technology oven control systems. It is recommended
that you operate your new oven for a number of
weeks to become familiar with its performance.
If you think an adjustment is necessary, see the Adjust
the Oven Thermostat section. It gives easy

Yourself instructions on how to adjust the thermostat.
How to Set Your Range for Baking
To avoid possible burns, place shelves in the correct
position before you turn the oven on.
1. Press the BAKE pad.
2. Press the + or – pad until the desired temperature
is displayed.
The oven will start automatically. The word “ON” and
“100°” will be displayed. As the oven heats up, the
display will show the changing temperature. When the
oven reaches the temperature you set, a tone will sound.
3. Press the CLEAR/OFF pad when baking is finished
and then remove the food from the oven.
To change the oven temperature during BAKE
cycle, press the BAKE pad and then the + or – pad
to get the new temperature.
Oven Shelves
Arrange the oven
shelf or shelves in
the desired
locations while
the oven is cool.
The correct shelf
position depends
on the kind of
food and the
browning desired.
As a general rule,
place most foods in the middle of the oven, on
either shelf position B or C. See the chart for
suggested shelf positions.
