Some window air conditioners with heat, such as yours, have an electric heater. When heat mode is selected, from a new unit or after a unit was stored, it might produce an odor. The odor should go away after about 10 minutes of use.

When you set this air conditioner to one of the modes on the control panel it will operate in that mode indefinitely. This model also offers a "Delay" option that provides the ability for the unit to turn on or off on its own after a set number of hours, up to 24. We hope this helps!

If water is dripping inside of the room, the unit may be installed so that it is tilted slightly into the room. It should be leveled or tilted slightly to the outside (about 1/4") so that any excess water will drip outside rather than leak into the room. Also, dirty filters can cause moisture to collect and drip on the floor.
