Operating precautions
• This appliance conforms with applicable safety rules and st

• This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial
use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the
manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
• Read these instructions carefully and keep them in a saf
e place.
• Make sure that the voltage of the appliance matches that of y
our
electrical system. Do not use any extension cord.
• Always install the appliance in a high place, on a flat, stable surf
ace,
resistant to humidity (avoid wooden furniture, contact with electric
al
appliances or sockets, etc.) and keep it out of children’s r
each.
Fully unwind the power cord.
• Always unplug the appliance after use, to move it or to clean it.
Do not unplug it by pulling the cord.
• Air out the room every day.
• Switch off the appliance if you notice condensation on the windows or
on the furniture.
• Never dismount the body of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance near spraying water.
• Do not place it on a hot surface, in the sun or near a source of heat.
• Never fill up the water tank when the appliance is plugged in.
• Only use cold tap water (max. temp. 40°C), avoiding har
d water as
much as possible. Do not use demineralised or softened water, or an

other substance.
• Tefal does not guarantee the quality of the scents diffused and c
annot
be held liable for any consequences of their diffusion: if in doubt, seek
the advice of a pharmacist or that of your doctor.
• Do not use the appliance if it is defective, if its cord is damaged, or if it
has fallen and shows visible signs of damage or operating abnormalities.
