NOTE: Tighten wing nuts until clearance is
removed and handle is securely tightened.
ATTACHING THE HANDLE
TO THE MOWER
After assembling the handle, snap holes in the
lower handle over the posts provided on the
side-plates (Fig. 2). When handle is in place use
the retaining rings provided in the hardware
package to press over the handle post to keep
the handle from coming off. (Fig. 2).
HOW TO CHANGE
CUTTING HEIGHT
These units have been designed to offer a cut-
ting height range from 1/2” (1.27 cm) to 2 3/4”
(6.98 cm). Basic changes in cutting height may
be done by ad-justing the roller assembly.
Loosen both roller brackets and slide the
brackets up or down in the slots provided. The
highest slot position gives the lowest cutting
height 1/2” (1.27 cm), while the lowest slot
position gives the highest cutting height 2 3/4”
(6.98 cm). Retighten the brackets and be sure
that they are adjusted equally and that the roller
is level (Fig 4).
CAUTION
DO NOT attach the handle to bolts on roller
assembly, at rear of mower. Attaching handle
in this position will make mower difficult to push
and is not correct.(Fig.3).
