#1 In instructions for the KGN39VWEAG fridge freezer it says that when the freezer has reached its set temperature the alarm display 1 lights up. My new unit delivered yesterdayappears to have reached the correct temperature but the light is still off

The display light 1 is the alarm this will light up if the appliance is not at the set temperature or loosing temperature.

#2 Can I put the back of this fridge freezer flush against the wall as it is a bit deeper than the 21 year old Bosch unit it replaces. I worry about air circulation.

The air on the rear panel and on the side panels of the appliance heats up. Conduction of the heated air must not be obstructed. Otherwise, the refrigerating unit must work harder. This increases power consumption. Therefore: Never cover or block the ventilation openings. We recommend to use the spacers included or leave a 3cm gap at the rear to allow ventilation to flow.

#3 When you plug the fridge freezer in for the first time how long should it take to get to the correct temperature? The alarm is still sounding over an hour later.

I would recommend to set the temperature to 4 degrees in the fridge and - 18 in the freezer leave the appliance empty with the door closed for approximately 4-6 hours.
