Safely Using the Deli Slicer
1. After reading through the safety instructions, you are ready to plug in your
appliance.
2. Insert the plug in an electric outlet making sure that it is the right voltage for
your appliance.
3. Never touch the slicing surface of your blade.
4. The blade is removable for cleaning.
5. Should you need to hold the blade, only do so using a safety glove.
6. A lubricant is spread on the back surface of the blade and appliance housing.
This ensures the smooth rotation of the blade and even consistent cutting.
7. Never touch the blade when the slicer is operating! This can cause serious injury.
8. Always use the Safety Food Holder to keep you safe while slicing food.
9. Do not slice hard or frozen food or food with bones.
10. Never use the slicer for more than 10 minutes continuously.
11. The cutting blade continues to rotate after the slicer has been switched off.
12. Return the slice thickness knob to the “0” setting after use.
How to Use the Deli Slicer
1. Turning the ON switch will cause the cutting blade to run. To stop the slicer,
turn the power switch to OFF.
2. The Thickness Adjustment Dial can be set to your desired slicing thickness. The
slice thickness range is 0-15 mm; paper thin to about half an inch.
3. Turn the Thickness Dial to your desired setting.
4. Place the food to be sliced on the Sliding Feed Table. Always use the Safety
Food Holder. The plastic Safety Food Holder should be placed on the Feed
Table arm to hold the food safely against the blade when the blade is running.
5. Press the food to be sliced with the safety guide lightly against the blade.
6. Slide the Feed Table so that the food contacts the Slicing Blade.
7. The slices will fall to the back of the appliance. You can place or hold a piece of foil
or parchment paper to catch the slices as they fall.
8. When you are done, turn the power switch to OFF and wait for the blade to come
