#1 I 've had this calculator for many years. no battery
compartment. The one i am ordering states it contains 1 aa battery. Where is the compartment?

Must be a mistake. It uses an LR44 watch type battery

#2 Why do i not see a kickstand in the picture? could you tell
me how this differs from the el-334f?

There is a pull out at the back which props up the calculator so as to make it easier to use on a flat surface rather than remain flat. The angle of the incline is around 25 degrees. However you use this calculator...I’ve been using them in an Animal Hospital setting since 2005 or so. They’re reliable, don’t brake and comfortable. It gets daily rough use.
