COOL TOUCH ELECTRIC WATER KETTLE
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this kettle, always follow the safety precautions listed below:
Read all instructions before using this kettle.•
For personal use only and not for use in a commercial setting.•
Do not use in any way other than its intended use.•
Do not operate outdoors or in any type of wet or extreme conditions.•
For added safety, this kettle should always remain unplugged when not in use.•
Check the kettle, base and power cord for visible damage before every use. Do not •
attempt to operate or repair if damaged or if the product malfunctions in any way. Contact

Use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, if required, the electrical rating of •
the cord must be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of this kettle.
Always use and store on a fl at, level, stable surface, away from any ledge and out of direct •
sunlight.
Do not place the kettle or the power cord on or near a stove top, open fl ame or other •
heated surface.
Do not operate using an external timer, remote control or smart system.•
To allow optimal airfl ow and avoid overheating, always allow at least a 4-inch clearance on •
all sides when in use and while cooling down.
Carefully position the power cord so no one can become entangled in the cord and so that •
the cord is not a tripping hazard.
Place the kettle on its base before plugging the power cord into an outlet. Do not plug the •
power cord into an outlet until the kettle is fi lled, closed and ready to use.
Do not fi ll with anything other than pure water.•
Do not brew tea or other beverages in the kettle as that can change the boiling •
characteristics of water and may cause overfl owing.
Do not operate when empty or without the minimum required water level (0.5-liters / 2-cups) •
or damage can occur.
