completely before you clean and store it.

• Do not use the jug or thermal pot without

• Do not use the the jug or thermal pot on a
flame or electric hob.
• Do not put water into the appliance when
it is still warm.
• Always close the lid (a) when the coffee
maker is in operation.
• All appliances are subject to rigorous
quality inspection. Practical tests using
appliances taken at random are conducted
and this may explain any possible traces
of use.
• The glass jug without a metal part
is microwave and dishwasher safe
(WARNING: the thermal pot must not be
placed in the microwave or dishwasher).
• Never place the appliance close to a wall
or below a wall cupboard. The steam could
cause damage.
• Never place the appliance below or close
to easily inflammable objects (e.g. curtains,
etc.).
• After switching on your coffee maker,
never put your hand on the warming plate
when you are removing the jug from the
coffee maker. While in operation, this plate
has a very high temperature, which could
cause burns.
• Do not pour hot water in the tanks.
Before using for the first time
• Use your filter coffee maker without coffee
the first time using the equivalent of a jug
of water to rinse your coffee maker.
Preparing the coffee
(Follow figures 1 to 9)
• Use only cold water and filter paper n°2 or
4 (fig.5) or the permanent filter* (fig.4).
• Do not exceed the maximum quantity of
water indicated by the water level on the
tank.
• This coffee maker has a drip stop so that
you can serve coffee before the end of
the cycle. Once your coffee is served,
replace the jug or thermal pot* to prevent
overflowing.
• Ground Coffee: Use one measuring spoon
of ground coffee per large cup.
• Wait a few minutes before making a
second pot of coffee.
• Do not make another pot of coffee if the
jug already contains coffee.
Thermal pot*
• Do not use the thermal pot without its lid.
• The thermal pot lid must be closed tightly
all the way to the right to prepare the
coffee and keep it warm.
• To serve the coffee, press the lever on
the lid of the thermal pot downwards or
unscrew the lid half a turn to the left*.
• Do not put your thermal pot in the
microwave or dishwasher.
• Rinse the thermal pot in hot water before
using so that it retains heat better and do
not put it back inside the coffee maker
after you have prepared the coffee.
• The thermal pot keeps your coffee warm
for four hours maximum.
Aroma selector* (see figure n°7)

• The aroma selector (fig.7) allows you to
adjust the intensity of the coffee.
• For a stronger coffee, turn the aroma
selector to the black cup.
Reheating the coffee
• Do not put the glass jug into the microwave
if it has a metallic part (e.g.: metal band).
Cleaning
• To dispose of the used coffee grounds,
remove the filter paper (fig.5) or
permanent filter* (fig.4).
• Unplug and let the coffee maker cool
down.
• Clean with a cloth or wet sponge.
• Do not clean the appliance when it is still
hot.
• Never immerse the appliance, the power
cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
Dishwasher:
• Only glass jugs without a metal band can
be placed in the dishwasher (without lid).
Thermal jug*
• Do not clean with abrasive cleaning
products.
• Do not put your hand inside to clean (risk
of breaks).
• To clean your Thermal jug, fill it with soapy
water and then rinse out thoroughly.
• In cases where the jug becomes very
stained by the coffee, fill it with lukewarm
water, add a dishwasher detergent tablet
and let it soak. Afterwards, rinse out
thoroughly.
Descaling
• Descale your coffee maker every 40 uses.
You can use:
- a sachet of descaling agent diluted in two
large cups of water;
- or two large cups of commercially
available white vinegar.
• Pour into the tank (b) and turn on the
coffee maker (without coffee).
• Allow the equivalent of one cup flow into
the jug or thermal pot (f) then stop your
coffee maker (you will have to turn off the
coffee maker on some automatic models).
• Allow to act for one hour.
• Restart the coffee maker to stop the flow.
• Run the coffee maker two or three times
with the equivalent of one jug of water to
rinse.
The guarantee excludes coffee makers
that are not working or are not working
properly due to lack of descaling.

제품을 사용하기 전에
• 처음 사용하기 전에 커피분말을 넣지 않은

커피 만들기
(그림 1 ~ 9 참조)
• 찬 물과 필터 종이 2번 또는 4(그림 5) 또는
영구 필터(그림 4)만 사용하십시오.
• 물탱크 수위 표시기에 표시된 최대 수위를
초과해서 물을 붓지 마십시오.
• 본 커피메이커는 누수방지장치가 있어서
커피를 추출하는 중에도 유리용기를 빼내어
커피를 따라내실 수 있습니다. 일단 커피가
제공되면, 유리용기를 교체하여 넘치는
것을 방지하십시오.
• 분말 커피: 큰 컵에 대해서는 분말 커피의
계량 스푼을 사용하십시오.
• 또 다른 커피를 준비하기 전에 몇 분 정도
기다리십시오.
• 유리용기가 이미 커피메이커에 포함된 경우,
또 다른 용기를 사용하지 마십시오.
유리용기*
• 유리용기를 뚜껑 없이 사용하지 마십시오.

• 유리용기 뚜껑은 오른쪽으로 완전히
닫도록 하여 커피를 준비하고 따뜻하게
유지하십시오.
• 커피를 제공하려면, 유리용기의 뚜껑에
있는 레버를 아래로 누르거나 왼쪽*으로
돌려 뚜껑의 반을 여십시오.
• 전자레인지 또는 식기 세척기에 유리용기을
두지 마십시오.
• 유리용기를 사용하기 전에 뜨거운 물로
세척을 함으로써 보온 기능을 향상시키고,
커피를 준비한 후 커피 제조기 내부에 다시
두지 마십시오.
• 유리용기는 최대 4시간 동안 커피를
보온합니다.
커피농도조절기*(그림 n°7 참조)
• 커피농도조절기(그림 7)는 커피의 강도를
조절합니다.
• 진한 커피를 원하면, 커피농도조절기를
블랙 커피로 조절합니다.
커피 다시 데우기
• 유리 주전자에 금속 부분이 존재하면
전자레인지에 넣지 마십시오(예: 금속
밴드).
세척
• 사용한 커피 찌꺼기를 처리하려면 커피
메이커에서 필터 종이(그림 5) 또는 영구
필터(그림 4)를 빼내십시오.
• 커피 메이커의 전원을 뽑고 식히십시오.
• 천이나 스폰지로 세척하십시오.
• 제품이 여전히 뜨거울 때에는 세척을 하지
마십시오.
• 제품, 전원선, 플러그를 물이나 기타 액체에
담그지 마십시오.
식기 세척기:

생긴 경우, 미지근한 물을 채우고 식기
세척기 세제 정제를 첨가한 후 물에
담그십시오. 그 다음, 깨끗이 세척하십시오.
물때 제거하기
• 40회 정도 사용하신 후 물때제거를 하시면
더욱 제품을 오래 사용하실 수 있습니다.
다음을 사용하여 물때를 제거할 수 있습니다.
- 물때 제거제 1팩을 물 2컵(큰 컵)에
희석합니다.
- 또는 시판하는 백시초를 2컵(큰 컵)정도
사용합니다.
• 위의 용액을 물탱크(b) 부어주시고
커피메이커를 (커피분말 없이)
작동시키십시오.
• 용액의 반정도가 커피 유리용기(f)로 빠져
나온 후 전원을 끄십시오.
• 1시간 동안 그대로 두십시오.
• 한 시간 후에 커피메이커를 다시 작동하여
남아있는 용액이 커피유리용기로 완전히
빠져 나오게 하십시오.
• 이후 물탱크에 깨끗하고 차가운 물을 넣어
2~3번 제품을 작동시켜 헹구어주십시오.
물 때 제거를 하지 않아 발생하는 문제에

없습니다.
