Indicator

Air Quality

Yellow

You can read about PM2.5 and μg/m3in “Air Quality 101” on page 13.

Plasma ion

In Auto operation, your air purifier uses plasma ion technology to produce positive and negative ions that help isolate and break down harmful impurities in the air. Although it sounds high tech (and it is) it’s safe and natural. Plasma ion operation is automatically turned off during Night Mode.

  • To turn off plasma ion feature, touch the ION button.
  • To turn on the plasma ion feature if it’s been turned off, touch the ION button.

Replace filter indicator

When it’s time to replace the filter, the unit will light the Filter button on the control panel. The expected life of the filter is 6 to 8 months, depending on the quality of the air in your home.

  • After you’ve replaced the filter, touch and hold the Filter button for 3 seconds to reset.

How to care for your air purifier

Cleaning the unit

  • To remove dust, lightly wipe the unit with a soft, clean cloth.
  • If needed, wipe the unit with a clean damp cloth, then immediately dry with a clean dry cloth.

  6. Place the air filter on the floor again and plug it back into the electrical outlet.
  7. The air purifier will automatically begin cleaning the air again.

When to turn off

Your air purifier is designed for ongoing use, and is safe to keep running all the time when you are home regularly.

Instant Pot 150-0001-01 Questions and Answers

#1 I have a medium air purifier for my bedroom, and it continually goes from orange to red. I've tried using a damp cloth to wipe down the intake vents, but this has not done anything. The bedroom doesn't seem to be very dusty. I have hard wood floors.
The Instant Air Purifier air quality readouts can be affected by a number of factors including:

-The size of the room in which the purifier is being used
-The amount of dust in the environment
-Placement of the purifier (operating near open windows or IR cameras is not recommended)
-The air outlet is blocked and needs to be cleaned
-The filter was installed with the plastic bag

#2 What is the CFM/CADR (cubic feet per minute) of the 150-0006-01? Is that the large AP300? I do not want to know however many square feet your company says this is good for. How that's come up with varies by manufacturer. I want the max amt of airflow #.
The Instant Air Purifiers have been independently tested and the certification results for which are as follows:

AP 300
Room Size: 388 sq ft
Tobacco Smoke CADR: 251
Dust CADR: 259
Pollen CADR: 289
PM2.5 CADR: 255
