USB cable to the USB jack on a keyboard or
USB hub.
Make sure to connect the cable to the USB jack
on the computer.

For Windows users
Double-click the [Removable Disk] icon
displayed in [My Computer]. Then, drag
and drop a picture in the folder onto the
hard disk drive of your computer.
A Folder containing image files recorded
by other VCRs without the folder

B Folder containing image files recorded
by the VCR when no new folders have
been created, only [101MSDCF] is
displayed.

Double-click the drive icon, then drag and
drop the desired picture file onto the hard
disk of your computer.

“Memory Stick Duo” operations on the VCR
cannot be assured if a “Memory Stick Duo
formatted on your computer is used on the VCR,
or if the “Memory Stick Duo” in the VCR was
formatted from your computer when the USB
cable was connected.
Do not compress the data on the “Memory Stick
Duo.” Compressed files cannot be played back
on the VCR.
When you load an image modified using
retouching software from your computer to the
VCR or when you directly modify the image on
the VCR, the image format will differ. A file
error indicator may appear and you may not
open the file.
Communications between the VCR and your
computer may not recover after recovering from
Suspend, Resume, or Sleep.
For Windows users
If [USB CONNECTING] appears on the
LCD screen, follow the procedure below to
disconnect the USB cable.
1 Click the [Unplug or eject hardware] icon
on the task tray.
2 Click [Safely remove USB Mass Storage
Device-Drive].
