LG Electronics WT-H9556 Questions and Answers

#1 Machine extremely noisey, now not spinning and refilling to start cycle again. Any ideas?

If this did happen I would turn it off and on and start just that cycle again. Hardly ever happens.

#2 The specs say it has a wool setting but it does not. So what settings to use for washing woolens?

If you follow the instruction on page Washing Program from the owner's manual it did say:
Step 1: power on
Step 2: Press the Program button few times until it selects the Wool setting
Step 3: add the laundry
And so on ...
I personally never use Wool setting and can not comment on the result of this setting. To get what LG claims it does is best to read and follow the instruction on the menu carefully and pay attention on the order of each step

#3 My machine tangles the clothes very badly so they wash inefficiently. It also leaves lint and fluff on clothes. Is this a fault? Or the design. I find it extremely frustrating. When I have to continually rewash

I think it is the design of the filtering system leaving fluff or lints on clothes. I found it frustrating too. A way to minimise this problem is to wash clothes with like colours and sort out towels, flannelette from synthetic fabrics and use liquid detergent.

#4 What's best to use liquid or powder?

I use powder detergent, but this is just a personal preference. I really don't think it matters.
