3-Wire Power Supply Cord Connection
IMPORTANT: Use where local codes permit connecting
cabinet-ground conductor to neutral wire.

1. Connect neutral wire

Ring terminals
Unscrew the removable conduit connector (H) and any
screws from a 3/4" (19 mm) UL listed strain relief (UL marking
on strain relief). Put the threaded section of the strain relief
(J) through the hole below the terminal block opening (I).
Reaching inside the terminal block opening, screw the
removable conduit connector (H) onto the strain relief threads.

1. Attach direct wire strain relief
Put direct wire cable through the strain relief. The strain
relief should have a tight t with the dryer cabinet and be in
a horizontal position. Tighten strain relief screw against the
direct wire cable.

3-wire direct connection:

4-wire direct connection:

If your wiring looks like this:
Remove center terminal block screw (A). Connect neutral wire
(D) (white or center wire) of power supply cord (E) to the center,
terminal screw of the terminal block (A). Tighten screw.
2. Connect the other wires to outer terminal block screws.
Tighten screws.
3. Tighten strain relief screws (E).
4. Insert tab of terminal block cover into slot of dryer rear
panel. Secure cover with hold-down screw.
5. You have completed your electrical connection. Now go to
“Venting Requirements.”
