Servicing Your Honda
Make sure the ignition switch is OFF.
Removal
(cont’d)
The battery is located in the battery box
under the maintenance lid.
Remove the maintenance lid (page ).
Remove the screws ( ), then remove
the battery holder ( ).
Remove the bolt ( ) that secures the
negative ( ) terminal lead ( ).
Remove the bolt ( ) that secures the
positive ( ) terminal lead ( ).
Pull the battery out of the battery box.
