PRESS TO LOWER 

  • Tap or haldelther up ("ordowny) button until he desired lernperature is seen on display.
  • This lernperature will be automatically maintained anywhere beween 60F (16-C) and 90F (32"C) for cooling mode.
  • The Temperature will be automatically maintained anywhere between 55F (13°C) and 80F (27°C) for healing mode. If you want the display to read he actual room temperature, FAN SEE ONLY MODE

TO USE AUTO FAN FEATURE: 

  • The lan speed wl begin in HI, then adjust to MED and LO 35 the roorn lernperature condifons indictates. For exarnple in cooling.
  • If the room doesn'i get too Wamn it will stay at LO. I the foorn lernperature rlses quickly, such 33 9 door being opened, I will automatically go to HI speed.
  • The lan speeds will adjust back to LO as the room returns to the original sellernperature.

 

PRESS MODE BUTTON  CHOOSE FAN ONLY 

  • Use this funclion only when cäaling is not desired, such as for room alr circulation.
  • You can aidose any tan speed you preler,EXCEPT AUTO FAN. During this function, the display will show the actual current ternperature, not the set temperature as in the cooling mode. 
  • Fan Only canna be selected when the unit is in the "Remnale Sensing Made. On tha92 units with ima! 18ature. 

TO USE THE ENERGY SAVER FEATURE

  • In his mode, the lan will continue la run for 3 minutes after the compressor shuis all.
  • The lan then cycles antor 2 minutes al 10 minute intervals until the morn ternperature is above the set lernperature, at which time the unit cooling system starts again.. 

LIGHT ON 

  •  For Delay Stop, the unit must be in the ON pasilion. Note 2: For Delay Start, the unit must be in the OFF pasillon, 
  • To adjust timer setting, lapor hold the UP arrow (M) or DOWN arrow (W) to change he delay lime by.5 hour increments up to 10 hours, hen by 1 hour ingements up to 24 hours.
  • The control will countdown he limer remaining until start (8, 7.5, 7, etc.). The Delay Startmode automatically selects High Cool mode (il Cool, Energy Saver, or Fan Only was the last mode selected) or High Heat (if Heat was the last made selected).
  • The temperature maintained will be the same aspreviously set.
  • To change the set temperature, press "cool" then Up or Down arrows until the desired temperature is indicated on the display. Alter 5 seconds, the control will automatically change the display back to the hours remaining until the unit will start/stop.
  • Turning the unit "ON ar "OFF" at any time will cancel the Delay Siart/Stop function. The delay SiartStop feature will work uniil the unii either starts or stops. Once this has happened then the above steps have to be repeated again 

Air Conditioner Feature

 

PRESS SLEEP PAD 

  • The Sleep Mode can be selected with a Heating or Cooling Mode. Note: In this "MODE" he selected cooling temperature will increase by 2 degrees F. 30 minutes a fler the mode is selected.
  • The tern perature will then increase by another 2 degrees F. alter an additional 30 minutes.
  • This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it relums to the originally selecled temperature. If this Made is selected with Heal, the set lemperature wi Decrease al the same time palert
  • This ends the 'Sleep" MODE and the unit will continue to operate as originally programined. The Sleep" MODE program can be cancelled at any time during operation by pressing "Sleep" MODE bulion.

 

PRESS MODE BUTTON 

  • This feature can be used with any combination of FAN Speeds (Low speed only on 115V modes), Timer, or Sleep Modes.
  • When in the "Heat" Mode,the fan will run continuously while heat is needed. The temperature will automatically be maintained anywhere between 55 "F(13C) and 80F(27 Ch.
  • Vihan the room set turiperature is salisfied the fan will cyclo off and on lo circulata und sample the room air, 

ADDITIONAL THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW 

  • Now that you have mastered the operating procedure, here are more features in your control that you should know. 
  • The Remote Control will opera le all the control panel features, follow the same instructions. 
  • The "Cool circuit has an automatic3 in inute time de la yod start if the unit is turned off and on quickly. This prevents overheating of the compressor and possible circuit breaker tripping. The fan will continue to run during this time. 
  • The control will maintain any set temperature between 60F and 90F degrees (caaling). 55F and 80F (healing).
  • The control is capable ofdisplaying lernperature in degrees Fahrenheilor degrees Celsius. To convert frorn one to the other, press and hold the Up and Down Ternperature Selection Pads at the same time for

 

Air Filter Cleaning

  • The air filter should be checked at least once a month to see if deaning is necessary. Trapped particles in the filter can build up and cause an accumulalon al frost on the cooling coils. 
  • Grasp the filter by the center and pull up and out. Wash the filter using liquid dish washing delergent and warm water. Rinse hier thoroughly.
  • Geniy shake excess water from the filer. Be sure fler is thoroughly dry before replacing. 
  • Or, instead of washing you may vacuum the Wiler clean. 

Cabinet Cleaning 

  • Be sure to unplug he air condifoner to prevent shock or fire hazard.
  • The cabinet and front may be dusled with an oil-free doth or washed with a cloth dampened in a solution of warm water and mild liquid dishwashing delergent.
  • Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry. Never use harsh cleaners, Wax or polish on the cabinetfront. Be sure to wring excess water from the cloth before wiping around the canlials.
  • Excess water in or around the controls may cause damage to the air conditione Plugin air conditioner. 

Winter Storage 

  • If you plan to store the air conditioner for the winter, cover it with plastic or retum it to the original carton.

NOTE:

  • To prevent rust or electrical connections from being damaged, store air conditioner in an upright position and a dry place.
