Listening to Music/Sound with the BLUETOOTH Function
To check the connection status of
the BLUETOOTH function
Tips
Once the BLUETOOTH connection is
established, an indication recommending
which application to download will be
displayed according to what device you
have connected.
Following the instructions displayed, an
application called SongPal, which will
enable you to operate this system, can be
downloaded.
Refer to “Listening to Music on the Mobile
Device with SongPal” (page 38) for details
on SongPal.
Perform pairing for the second and
subsequent mobile devices.
To cancel pairing, press HOME.
1 Turn the BLUETOOTH function of
the mobile device to on.
2 Press INPUT +/– repeatedly to
display “BT” in the front panel
display.
The input changes to [Bluetooth
Audio] automatically, then the
system automatically reconnects to
the mobile device it was most
recently connected to.
3 Make sure that the BLUETOOTH
indicator lights in blue.
A connection between the system
and mobile device has been
established.
4 Start audio playback with the
music app on the connected
mobile device.
Sound is output from the unit.
5 Adjust the volume.
Adjust the volume by pressing
+/– on the remote control.
Adjust the subwoofer volume by
pressing SW +/– on the remote
control (page 28).
You can play or pause the content
by using the playback operation
buttons on the remote control.
To disconnect the mobile device
Perform any of the following items.
Disable the BLUETOOTH function on
the mobile device.
Press PAIRING on the remote control.
Turn off the system or mobile device.
If “BT” does not appear in the front panel
display by pressing INPUT +/– in step 2 of
“Listening to Music from the Paired Mobile
Device,” press RX/TX on the remote control
once.
Tip
When the connection is not established,
select “HT-CT790” on the mobile device.
By holding an NFC-compatible mobile
device such as a smartphone or tablet
near the N mark on the unit, the system
is turned on automatically, then pairing
