#1 What is the temperature in Fahrenheit for each of the temp settings?

To provide an optimum washing performance, it is recommended that the hot water temperature from your water heater be set at 120 – 130 °F (48 – 54 °C) and the cold at 60 °F (15 °C). Water heaters are factory set at OSHA recommended levels, around 140°F (60°C). On the other hand, the EPA suggests turning the thermostat down to 120 °F (48 °C). If you've never adjusted the temperature on your hot water heater, it's probably set to 140°F (60°C) which is the default setting from most manufacturers. The hot water setting for the washer will be the temperature of the hot water coming from your water heater and the extra hot will be above that temperature. Typically for washing machines, the warm water setting or the medium water setting is between 110°F and 90°F (43.3-32.2°C). And, the cold water setting is between 80°F and 60°F (26.7-15°C).

#2 How long is the drain hose?

The drain hose for the drain pump filter is approximately 4 inches

#3 I have high shelves in my laundry room that can only be reached by standing on the washer and dryer. Can the lid of this washer support the weight of a 180 pound person standing on it?

I am sorry, however, no. The the lid is made of glass and can not have anything placed on it or any one stand on it.

#4 How do I know if my Water Level Is high enough? As an example, I put a load of dress shirts in the normal wash, but the shirts don’t get fully wet.

As per the manual, clothing, or articles being washed, should be loaded loosely and should not be loaded past the maximum load line in the tub. If clothing is pressed or pushed down to fit more, the unit will be unable to circulate and agitate the clothing for proper cleaning. Also, the machine does have a water plus button to add additional water when desired and the option to select Prewash+ Normal cycle to assist with those types of loads.

#5 How to Care and Cleaning of the Interior ?

- Use a towel or soft cloth to wipe around the washer lid (door) opening and lid (door) glass.
- Always remove items from the washer as soon as the cycle is complete. Leaving damp items in the washer can cause wrinkling, color transfer, and odor.
Run the Tub Clean cycle once a month, or more often if needed, to remove detergent buildup and other residue.
