GE - General Electric GDT625PSJSS Questions and Answers

#1 Is this dishwasher supposed to take 3 to 4 hours to run?

It is normal for some dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions and on certain models:
•On select models, the timer display or dial will stop for long periods (up to 1/2 hour) during the wash and dry cycles while the heater is activated.
•On models featuring Auto Hot Start, the cycle may be extended up to 20 minutes while the dishwasher heats the water. This time will vary depending on the temperature of the water coming in to the machine.
•Cycle time may also vary on models with clean sensors due to the sensor extending or decreasing cycle time and number of fills based on the soil level.

Wash Temp Boost: This option increases the temperature to help clean heavily soiled dishes and will increase the cycle time by 20 to 50 minutes.

Heated Dry On: Turns on the option for faster drying. This option may add up to 85 minutes to the cycle time.

Bottle Jets: This option increases the time that the bottle jets are on and may add up to 23 minutes to the cycle time. Use this to wash difficult to clean, dishwasher safe baby bottles, sport bottles, tall
coffee cups, etc.

Steam: For use with heavily soiled and/or dried-on, baked-on soils. This option MUST be selected
PRIOR to starting the cycle. The Steam option adds up to 30 minutes to the cycle time.
