Important: The kettle should only be used
with the base supplied.
■ The kettle should only ever be lled
with water. Milk or instant products will
burn and damage the appliance. Never
operate the kettle without water or over-
ll: observe the min and max markings.
If the kettle is too full, the water will boil
over!
Before using for the rst
time
■ Remove any stickers or lm.
■ Unwind the cord to the required length
and plug in. The temperature display
and a On/O and U (keep warm)
buttons will light up briey. A signal
sounds.
■ Fill the kettle with water and bring to the
boil twice to clean it thoroughly.
■ When the water comes to the boil for
the rst time, add a tablespoon of white
vinegar.
Boiling water
1. Fill the kettle with fresh water through
the spout or the opened lid (press button
to open lid).
2. You can see the lling level on the water
level indicator. Observe the min and
max markings!
3. Close the lid, pressing down until it
clicks into place.
4. Place the kettle on the base.
5. Touch the a On/O button. A signal
will sound and the temperature last set
lights up.
6. A temperature between approx. 70°C
and approx. 100°C can be selected by
touching the temperature setting.
7. The water is heated.
8. Boiling stops automatically once
the specied temperature has been
reached. A signal sounds.
The temperature display lights up for
approx. 1 minute and then goes out.
Notes:
■ Touch the
a On/O button to
re-heat water that has cooled down.
The temperature setting will be saved
as long as the appliance is connected to
a power source.
■ The temperature can be changed at any
time during the heating process.
■ When the kettle is placed on the base,
the temperature selected lights up
briey.
■ While the kettle is heating up, the
temperature selected ashes until it has
been reached.
■ During the heating process the water
temperature currently reached is
displayed on the temperature setting.
■ If the temperature cannot be set, the
water in the kettle is hotter than the
desired temperature. The current
temperature lights up.
■ You can end heating at any time by
touching the a On/O button again.

amparadas por esta garantía las averías o

DEUTSCHLAND (DE)
Die nachstehenden Bedingungen, die Voraussetzungen
und Umfang unserer Garantieleistung beschreiben, lassen
dieGewährleistungsverpichtungendesVerkäufersaus
dem Kaufvertrag mit dem Endabnehmer unberührt.
Für dieses Gerät leisten wir Garantie gemäß nachstehenden
Bedingungen:
1. Wir beheben unentgeltlich nach Maßgabe der folgenden Bedingungen (Nr. 2 – 6) Mängel am Gerät,
die nachweislich auf einem Material- und / oder Herstellungsfehler beruhen, wenn sie uns unverzüglich
nach Feststellung und innerhalb von 24 Monaten nach Lieferung an den Erstendabnehmer gemeldet
werden.
Zeigt sich der Mangel innerhalb von 6 Monaten ab Lieferung, wird vermutet, dass es sich um
einen Material- oder Herstellungsfehler handelt.
2.DieGarantieerstrecktsichnichtaufleichtzerbrechlicheTeilewiez.B.GlasoderKunststoffbzw.
Glühlampen.
EineGarantiepichtwirdnichtausgelöstdurchgeringfügigeAbweichungenvonderSoll-Beschaffenheit,
diefürWertundGebrauchstauglichkeitdesGerätesunerheblichsind,oderdurchSchädenauschemischen
undelektrochemischenEinwirkungenvonWasser,sowieallgemeinausanomalenUmweltbedingungen
odersachfremdenBetriebsbedingungenoderwenndasGerätsonstmitungeeignetenStoffeninBerührung
gekommenist.EbensokannkeineGarantieübernommenwerden,wenndieMängelamGerätauf
Transportschäden,dienichtvonunszuvertretensind,nichtfachgerechteInstallationundMontage,
Fehlgebrauch,einenichthaushaltsüblicheNutzung,mangelndePegeoderNichtbeachtungvon
Bedienungs-oderMontagehinweisenzurückzuführensind.
Der Garantieanspruch erlischt, wenn Reparaturen oder Eingriffe von Personen vorgenommen werden,
die hierzu von uns nicht ermächtigt sind, oder wenn unsere Geräte mit Ersatzteilen, Ergänzungs- oder
Zubehörteilenversehenwerden,diekeineOriginalteilesindunddadurcheinDefektverursachtwird.
3.DieGarantieleistungerfolgtinderWeise,dassmangelhafteTeilenachunsererWahlunentgeltlich
instandgesetztoderdurcheinwandfreieTeileersetztwerden.
Geräte,diezumutbar(z.B.imPKW)transportiertwerdenkönnen,undfürdieunterBezugnahmeauf
diese Garantie eine Garantieleistung beansprucht wird, sind unserer nächstgelegenen Kundendienststelle
oderunseremVertragskundendienstzuübergebenoderzuzusenden.InstandsetzungenamAufstellungsort
könnennurfürstationärbetriebene(feststehende)Geräteverlangtwerden.
EsistjeweilsderKaufbelegmitKauf-und/oderLieferdatumvorzulegen.ErsetzteTeilegeheninunser
Eigentum über.
4.SoferndieNachbesserungvonunsabgelehntwirdoderfehlschlägt,wirdinnerhalbderobengenannten
GarantiezeitaufWunschdesEndabnehmerskostenfreigleichwertigerErsatzgeliefert.
5.GarantieleistungenbewirkenwedereineVerlängerungderGarantiefrist,nochsetzensieeineneue
Garantiefrist in Lauf. Die Garantiefrist für eingebaute Ersatzteile endet mit der Garantiefrist für das ganze
Gerät.
6.WeitergehendeoderandereAnsprüche,insbesonderesolcheaufErsatzaußerhalbdesGerätesentstan-
denerSchädensind–soweiteineHaftungnichtzwingendgesetzlichangeordnetist–ausgeschlossen.
DieseGarantiebedingungengeltenfürinDeutschlandgekaufteGeräte.WerdenGeräteinsAuslandverbracht,
diedietechnischenVoraussetzungen(z.B.Spannung,Frequenz,Gasarten,etc.)fürdasentsprechendeLand
aufweisen und die für die jeweiligen Klima- und Umweltbedingungen geeignet sind, gelten diese Garantiebedin-
gungenauch,soweitwirindementsprechendenLandeinKundendienstnetzhaben.FürimAuslandgekaufte
Geräte gelten die von unserer jeweils zuständigen Landesvertretung herausgegebenen Garantiebedingungen.
DiesekönnenSieüberIhrenFachhändler,beidemSiedasGerätgekaufthaben,oderdirektbeiunserer
Landesvertretung anfordern.
