CYCLE OPTIONS AND SPECIAL FEATURES
Your dryer features several additional cycle options and special features to meet your individual needs. For all steam
features, see the following pages.
WRINKLE GUARD
Selecting this option will tumble the clothes after the
cycle ends for a few seconds every few minutes without
heat. This option is active for 180 minutes after the end of
the cycle, or until the door is opened. This helps prevent
wrinkles if the clothes are not removed immediately after
the cycle has nished.
CONTROL LOCK
Use this option to disable the controls.
All controls will be disabled except for the POWER
button. Once set, the Control Lock must be turned o
before the controls can be used. After the dryer has shut
o , the POWER button will allow the dryer to be turned
on, but the controls will remain locked. When the Control
Lock is set, the LED will illuminate and “CL” will display
alternately with the cycle time.
Press and hold the CHIME button for three seconds to
activate or deactivate the Control Lock.
DAMP DRY SIGNAL
If you activate the Damp Dry Signal, the dryer will emit
a chime when the clothes are just short of completely
dry, in case you want to remove them for ironing or
hang drying. To activate or deactivate the Damp Dry
Signal, press and hold the ACCELA STEAM button for
three seconds.
DRUM LIGHT
The drum is equipped with a blue LED that illuminates
when the dryer is turned on. This light automatically
turns o when the door is closed and the cycle starts.
To turn on the light during a cycle, press the DRUM
LIGHT button. The drum light will illuminate and then
turn o automatically after 60 minutes.
ENERGY SAVER
This option helps to reduce the energy consumption of
the Normal cycle, depending on the size of the load.
The drying time will change when ENERGY SAVER is
selected.
INSTALLING AND USING THE OPTIONAL
DRYING RACK

With the dryer door open, slide the rack into the
dryer drum.

Make sure the front of the rack is seated properly in
the recess on the lint lter housing at the front of the
drum. The two rear legs of the rack should be resting
on the rear wall just above the drum.

Place items to be dried on the rack. Make sure that
no parts of the article hang over the edges of the
rack, as they might be contacted by the rotating
drum, causing noise or damage to the drum
or articles.
NOTE: Be sure to remove the drying rack after using
the RACK DRY cycle.
Using the RACK DRY Cycle
Use Rack Dry with items, such as wool sweaters, silk,
and lingerie, that should dry at. Rack Dry can also
be used with items that should not be tumbled dry,
such as gym shoes or stu ed animals.

Press and hold the STATIC SHIELD button for three
seconds to access the RACK DRY cycle.

Press the TEMP button to select from Low or Med.
Low temperature options. If no temperature is
selected, the cycle defaults to no heat.
