GE - General Electric WDSR2080DWW Questions and Answers

#1 What is the weight capacity of the load that can go in the washing machine?

Pounds (lbs) is no longer used as a rating system for washer capacity. A washer is not limited in practical terms by the pounds or weight of clothes it can wash. It is limited by the volume of clothes that can be put in the machine. Example - A down comforter can fill the entire machine but weigh very little, while blue jeans are heavy but is typically a smaller load.

#2 Why does water get on the lid after each wash load?

With Top Load washers, it is not uncommon to have a small amount of water at the bottom of the wash basket after a load is complete. The amount of water is typically a 1/2 cup of water or less, and is considered normal.

If there is more than a 1/2 cup of water in the bottom of the tub or residual water in other areas, service may be required. If you would like to schedule a service appointment, contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737
