Checkthatthegarageheatersoutletgrillisnotcoveredorobstructedinanyway,and
makesurethepowertotheunitisswitchedon.
SETTING THE THERMOSTAT
1.Rotatethermostatknobclockwisetodesiredposition,POWERINDICATORwill
turnyellow.
2.Afterroomreachesdesiredcomfortleveltheheaterwillturnoff.Heaterwillcycle
onandofftomaintainroomtemperature.
SELECTION SWITCH
UsingtheSELECTIONSWITCH,youcancontroltheheatingoutput:Ifor3000W,IIfor
4000W,IIIfor5000W.
THERMAL CUT-OUT
Theheaterwillautomaticallyshutoffwhenpartsofitoverheat.Theheaterwillturn
ONagainwhentheabnormaltemperaturereturnstonormallevels.Shouldtheunit
overheatandcausethethermalcut-outtocycle,thecauseoftheoverheatingshould
bedeterminedandcorrectiveactiontakenbeforefurtheroperation.
NOTE:Whenthethermalcut-outisactivated,thecautionindicatorwillturnred.In
thiscase,immediatelyturntheheaterOFFandinspectforanyobjectsonoradjacent
totheheaterthatmaycausehightemperatures.DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER
WITH THE CAUTION INDICATOIR GLOWING RED.
ADJUSTING AIR FLOW DIRECTION
1.Toturntheunitwhenithasbeeninstalledwithasinglelagbolt(asshownin
gure4a),simplyturntheentireheaterasneeded.Theunitcannotbeturned
horizontallyifithasbeeninstalledwith2lagbolts.
2.Totilttheunitvertically,loosenthebracketscrews(seeFigure5).
