Frigidaire FAK124R1V Questions and Answers

#1 What does Sleep Mode mean?

When this mode is enabled, the selected temperature will increase by 2 °F 30 minutes after the mode is selected.

The temperature will then increase by another 2 °F after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before returning to the originally selected temperature.

This ends the “Sleep” mode and the unit will continue to operate as originally programmed. You may also cancel sleep mode at any time by again pressing the sleep button.

#2 I have noticed water dripping outside of my room air conditioner, is this normal?

Water dripping outside is a normal function of the room air conditioner, especially during periods of excessive humidity.

If condensation need to be directed, window air conditioners have a key hole drain in the bottom of the unit where one could connect a ½” drain hose for safe disposal of excess system water.

Part: EA150D / 5304481680. Never drill holes into the bottom of the room air conditioner to remove water. If water is dripping inside the room during the cooling, this is due to improper installation. Please refer to installation instructions or check with your local installer.

#3 What does the Clean Air button do?

When this feature is on, the electronic air purifier is energized to remove pollen and impurities from the air. To cancel this feature, press the Clean Air button.
