Noco GENIUS1 Questions and Answers

#1 Should i use noco battery charger with axtra power strip?

No, just plug it in to the wall electrical outlet, unless the cord won't reach, then an extension cord or power strip would be needed. It works just fine plugging it into the wall outlet.

#2 Do you have to disconnect battery when charging? Will it hurt electronics on newer cars?

I have not had to disconnect the battery. It quit working after a couple months and their warranty is garbage. Also they don't have the power to fully charge a dead battery. You'll need a more powerful charger for this

#3 My battery went from pulsing red to pulsing green after 3 hours. Then 14 hours later in went to pulsing red again. Anyone have an idea why that is?

Read your directions completely. Your battery may have a sulfation issue and the charger is cycling to break up or dissolve sulfating build up.

#4 So all I do is hook this up to my battery and it'll trickle charge when needed? Right now its showing the amber light meanings its on auto?

Until the light is in continuous green light . Any other light ( blinking red, amber ) means still trickle charging. I unhook the 2 battery terminals from battery. This is to speed up the charging directly to the battery. You don’t need to trickle charge your car metal body.

#5 That divese is powered by batery or electricity?

This device plugs into a standard electrical outlet for power and battery maintenance
