GE - General Electric PGS950SEFSS Questions and Answers

#1 What is the current draw of this stove? I don’t have a dedicated circuit and wondering if it could become a problem.

This is a great question, thank you for connecting with us here at GEA! The draw of this stove is 120 Volts, 60 Hertz and 15 Amps. A gas range does not require a dedicated circuit. High-low models with a microwave require a 15-20 amp breaker and operate on 120 volts.

Additionally, it is important to note that when installing two products on the same circuit, the amp requirements of both appliances has to be equal to or less than the total amperage of the circuit. For example, a gas cooktop and a vent hood can be installed on the same breaker if their combined amperage is less than 15 volts.

We hope this helps, have a great day!

#2 What is the Temperature of the oven when you press the Warm Control?

Warm mode is designed to keep hot foods hot for up to 3 hours. The oven heats to approximately 175-180 degrees.

Keep in touch!

#3 what is the interior dimension on two ovens. I want to know if I can roast a large turkey in the bottom.

We appreciate your interest in the range PGS950SEFSS and we are happy to help! The interior dimensions of the two ovens are: 24" W x 9-1/2"H x 19-1/8"D - Upper; 24"W x 15"H x 20-5/8"D - Lower. The lower oven will hold a turkey about 20 lbs. Thanks for checking!

#4 How many CFAs does the vent need to handle? Does GE have a vent that is recommended for this range?

Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to help. Most range or cooktop models do not require a ventilation system or have a CFM requirement; however, we recommend checking the local residential codes in your area to see if one is required.
